Finca hostel Puente Piedra – Base Camp Iguaque - Territorio independiente

Located about 13 Km north from Villa de Leyva on the way to Arcabuco (8 Km), very close to the waterfalls of “La Periquera “ and to the entry of Iguaque National Park, which protects a very important spiritual site of the ancient “Muiscas”, who at their time, were the most important indigenous tribe in northeastern Colombia.

“Finca Puente Piedra” is not only a starting point for visiting the famous mystical lakes of Iguaque but you can also go on hikes around the area, visit the nearby towns of Arcabuco, Villa de Leyva and Gachantiva or take a trip down to Moniquirá, a small town with a much warmer climate which is surrounded by coffee and sugar cane plantations – only about 50 minutes from our “finca”.

Although secluded and hidden in the middle of nature, you can get to “Finca Puente Piedra” by public transportation from Villa de Leyva or Arcabuco.

The biggest charm of this farm is its tranquility, the diverse flora and fauna that surrounds it and especially its location in the middle of Colombian farm life, in a region which has enjoyed peace and harmony for decades.
